WAR On the Road
January we saw a very empowered group of WAR members and supporters at our first Meet and Greet with legislators on capitol grounds in Arizona. We encourage you to make every effort to participate in any of the state visits announced over the year. Below is our schedule for February and March. Please take the time to mark calendars, enter into phones or tablets and come to stand with us. We discourage registrants on probation or parole from attending as there might be other registrants and we would not want you to put yourself in danger of being violated. So, we suggest if that is your situation please consider sending a family member or sponsor on your behalf.
February 17th – Salt Lake City – Utah State Capitol Hall of Governors from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Invitations have been sent to all legislators, local sex crimes attorneys, law school professors, ACLU, public defenders and media.
March 2nd – Springfield – Illinois State Capitol Legislative Floor Rotunda from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Invitations will be sent to all legislators, local sex crimes attorneys, law school professors, ACLU, public defenders and media prior to the event.
March 9th – Jefferson City – Missouri State Capitol Third Floor Rotunda 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Invitations will be sent to all legislators, local sex crimes attorneys, law school professors, ACLU, public defenders and media prior to the event.
Below is our ‘tentative schedule’ for the following months.
April – Florida
May – Kansas
June – Louisiana
July – New York
August – Ohio
September – Pennsylvania
October – New Jersey
November – Nevada
